Well, hello there!

My name is Meagan Boyd, and I’m an artist, poet, and single mother based in Southern California. I approach my work with a sense of playfulness and see it as a sacred offering to the Anima Mundi, or collective spirit. I create all kinds of things in different media, but painting will always be my first love and remains at the heart of my creative practice.

Through a creative process rooted in ritual and introspection, I aim to channel symbolic visions of joy and connection that explore the stories we all carry within us. Making art is my way of connecting the dots, forming constellations with applied mythology to create new illuminated images- visual poems that reveal the interconnectedness of humanity and the natural world, bringing together both earthly and celestial creatures to celebrate in collective liberation.

It is a true gift to share my work and over the years, I have had the honor of exhibiting my work in both group and solo shows around the world. I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate on projects like fashion collections, album art, and illustrations for various brands globally. My art has also been featured in four volumes of Taschen’s Library of Esoterica series, as well as publications like Vogue, Hi-Fructose, and Vice's Creator's Project.
